Hello my lovely Bangalorean people. How have we been? Long time, isn’t it.Well1 to be very frank, get very little time from my twinsters, so whatever little I get, I think of quickly penning down, what I read or whatever I come to know, I feel like sharing with all of you.
What is the medical condition of hair loss?
The medical term used for hair loss is Alopecia; it is a temporary condition, mainly due to stress, shock (either to mind or body). Telogen (which have stopped growing) hair are another type of hair. Everyone has experienced hair loss, at some or the other point in their lives. Some of it is quite normal, but when it is excessive, it is termed as telogen, it can be due to separation in the natural growth and hair cycle.
Around 80- 90% hair follicles on scalp grow properly, remaining 10 -20 % are in the rest phase. This can happen due to many things in life, causing a temporary hair loss; you must have seen your hair coming out in bunches, on the brush, pillows, anywhere but on the head, itself (where they are supposed to be).
Stress is the major cause known to be for telogen effluvium and the threats to stress are listed below:
- Pregnancy and childbirth
- Any injury
- Malnutrition (due to unhealthy eating)
- Emotional stress
Why does hair fall?
Any kind of physical injury, through which hormones are disrupted, can cause hair loss. Other factors being, pregnancy are for a short while only (only until the lady has conceived), hair grows again post childbirth (though does take a little while, but still, they do). But, being stressed all the time, due to relations, work (house work or office work), what, did you ask, how can house work cause stress? Well! To me it does!! Not at all a ‘gharelo’ type of girl. Try to run away from it, as much as I can!!!!
Anyhow, besides that we have more things to get worried about, finances not meeting our little demands, parenting issues now, please don’t ask me again, how or why?? All of this has a major effect on your health and so resulting in loss of hair.
So, the best way is to keep stress away (at least try to).
How that possible, well is don’t stop in the middle. Keep reading for a while, not for long.
Telogen Effluvium goes off on its own; you just have to be relaxed, body will get back to normal, but even after staying ‘calm’ for long doesn’t work for you for long, please do the following easy steps, to get back on line( without medication).
- Have a healthy meal.
- Take a count of your supplements
- Treat hair nicely, pamper yourself, go for a massage (once awhile, spa also would be a good idea), but if you are one of those who like to do things on your own, then do it at home, only.
- And last but, certainly not the least, TAKE A DEEP BREATH, and enjoy.
